Programs

At Calvary Christian School, we provide a Christ-centered education for students in preschool through 8th grade, complemented by our Extended Program. Read more about our programs below.

We combine early childhood education with Bible-based principles and teachings, with an emphasis on spiritual, academic and social development.

Students develop essential learning, social, and communication skills, while exploring God’s order in math, science, and social studies.

We provide a supportive and challenging environment where students deepen their faith, strengthen their academic skills, and develop into responsible young leaders.

Our Before and After School Programs keep your children safe from 7am to 6pm, for students in Preschool all the way to 6th grade (ages 3-12).

Preschool

CCS’s preschool program combines early childhood education with Bible-based principles and teachings, with an emphasis on spiritual, academic and social development.

The ABCJesusLovesMe curriculum allows our students to grow their skills in a wide variety of fields, while using developmentally appropriate activities to keep them engaged.

Social & Emotional training

The school day runs from 8:30am to 12:00pm, and each day keeps our students engaged by challenging them in a variety of ways. From learning penmanship by writing their names, letters and numbers, to our rotating schedule of Library, Science, PE and Music, we ensure that our preschoolers are given a firm academic foundation while still integrating the love of God from the start to the finish of our day. On occasion, there is also no school on Friday!

Elementary

At Calvary Christian School, our elementary program is designed to cultivate a comprehensive education, nurturing both the mind and the spirit of each child. We believe in building strong foundations that will equip our students for success in all areas of life, grounded in the unwavering truth of God’s love.

We strive for excellence for all of our students, and our curriculum not only lays a strong academic foundation, but also seeks to strengthen their character.

Our Academic Approach is Threefold:

Effective Communication: We teach our students to read and write well, and guide them in effective speech.
Exploring God’s Order: Learning math, science, and social sciences gives our students a knowledge and understanding of how the world around them works.
Excellent Social Skills: We work to foster the learning skills, social skills, and behavioral skills that will help them succeed in school and in society.

Calvary Christian School’s elementary program is committed to providing a well-rounded education that prepares students for a lifetime of learning, faith, and service. We strive to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and character they need to navigate the world with confidence and purpose, grounded in the unwavering love of Christ.

Middle

Our Middle School program at Calvary Christian School provides a supportive and challenging environment where students deepen their faith, strengthen their academic skills, and develop into responsible young leaders.

We Focus On

Equipping them with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of adolescence, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging them to discover and use their God-given talents.

Through rigorous academics, engaging extracurriculars, and a Christ-centered community, we empower students to live out their faith, make wise choices, and confidently step into their God-ordained purpose.

Extended Program

Our Extended Program is open to students from Preschool through 6th grade, providing both Before School and After School programs. The Extended Program requires registration, including a $150/family enrollment fee. We also offer programs for non-school days and throughout the summer.

Before School Program

($7 / day)

Open for Preschool through 6th Grade, from 7:00am – 8:15am.
Includes center activities, circle time, and prayer.
Students are escorted to school between 8:00am and 8:15am by program staff.

After School Program

Preschool ($16 / day)

Open from 12:00pm – 6:00pm.
Students are escorted from school by staff members.
Includes lunch, recess, skill review, independent and group play, story time, and quiet time.

After School Program

Elementary School – 6th Grade ($13 / day)

Open from 3:15pm – 6:00pm.
Students are escorted from school by staff members.
Includes independent and group play, snack, homework help, gym time, and individual craft/center activities.

All-Day Program

Open on Fridays, and No-School days, 7:00am – 6:00pm .
For Preschool through 6th Grade.
Half day (less than 5.5 hours) $26 / day.
Full day (more than 5.5 hours) $36 / day.

Summer Program

($50 activities fee/student)

Open Monday through Thursday, from 7:30am – 5:30pm.
For Preschool through age 10.
Half day (less than 5 hours) $26 / day.
Full day (more than 5 hours) $36 / day.

There is a $25 late fee for every 10 minutes late for pickup.

Extended Program invoices will be sent weekly via e-mail and will include billing through that date. Payments can be made in person with cash/check, or on-line using debit/credit/e-check.

Please include your invoice number and student’s name with your payment.

Extended Program enrollment fee of $150/family must be paid prior to the start of the school year.
