Calvary Christian Preschool offers a Christ-centered education focused on developing the whole child with an emphasis on spiritual, academic and social development.

Calvary Christian Preschool’s program combines an early childhood education with Bible-based principles and teaching.  Calvary Christian Preschool uses ABCJesusLovesMe curriculum, a Bible based curriculum teaching students in the areas of Bible, Language, Math, Gross Motor Skills, Fine Motor Skills, Visual Perception, Social/Emotional training, while using developmentally appropriate activities to engage students.

A typical day in Pre-kindergarten/K-4 may include:  

8:30    Welcome Activity- Bell work, Calendar, pledges, music and movement

8:40    Bible Lesson (the love of God is integrated from the start of our day to the finish.) 

9:00    Opening / Language / Literacy – puppets, movement, stories, rhyme, ABC Letter Recognition & Sound Recognition 

9:30    Snack – Prayer (students bring own snack and drink)

10:00   Penmanship – Name Practice / Letter or Number Practice

10:20    Recess – gross motor skills

10:40    Math – counting, sorting, patterns using manipulatives, number sense and number recognition

11:00    Specials- Science 1x week / PE 1x week / Music 1x week / Library 1x week

11:20    Centers / Art

11:45    Time to say good-bye ~ Prayer / Story Time / Review of day activities

12:00    Dismissal
